St. Vincent’s Convent Sr. Sec. School is founded in the year 1974 by late Rev. Monsignor Jacob Vadakeveetil, then Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Balasore. It is a recognized unaided Christian Minority Institution under the religious jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Balasore and its chairperson is Rt. Rev. Simon Kaipuram, the Bishop of Balasore. The school is administered by the Sisters of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel. Inspired by St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara a great educator, social reformer and the founder of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel, the sisters offer their dedicated and selfless service for the holistic development of the students and the people in the vicinity.
